David Niles White is a film and television producer with over 15 years of industry experience.

In Boston, David produced commercials, documentary films, television programs and corporate films. He was Vice President and Senior Producer at Videocraft Productions, New England’s largest full-service film and tape facility. At Videocraft, David was creatively and fiscally responsible for a staff of line producers, writers, and directors. Simultaneously, he produced the company’s most important, film based projects.

In January of 1992, he moved to Los Angeles to work on the more challenging projects the market has to offer. David continued to produce for the commercial market, completing projects for such industry leaders as: AT&T, Lexus, Mattel, Resorts International and Xerox.

Once in Los Angeles, David began producing more long format programming for television and the direct-to-video market. He was proud to have produced a documentary program for director Jim Abrahams about a cure for pediatric epilepsy that spawned a recently aired ABC Telefilm. David has also produced television projects for Fox Television, Sony Pictures, Disney, Time-Warner, Comedy Central and ESPN.

Since the beginning of his career, David has always been involved in computer graphics, animation and digital post production. Several years ago, he was asked to take Mattel's flagship product, Barbie, and create the mechanism to bring her to life (for commercials and other multi-media projects) using digital animation. Upon successful completion of this project, David focused his efforts entirely on computer animation.

Through his relationship with comedic director David Zucker, he was introduced to Trey Parker and Matt Stone and asked to produce the pilot for the animated series South Park. With the success of the pilot, David was charged with ramping-up the show as a digitally animated series. Needless to say, the show still remains one of the most popular animated shows on television.

David was then asked to join a new management team at Film Roman, the production company for The Simpsons, King of the Hill, and Family Guy among others, to create a new digital animation department to complement the company's cel animation production. As Vice President/Executive of Digital Animation, he was responsible for the digital animation staff, information technology department, and all digital post-production.

Having been asked repeatedly to set up animation facilities to mirror the success of South Park, in 1998 David, along with partner Ron Tippe, got together to form digitalcharactergroup, a company dedicated solely to digital character animation.

David is married to Carole Jane White and has two sons, Matthew who is eleven years old and Daniel who is four. They reside in Pacific Palisades, California.
